Konstruksi Berpikir Kritis dan Pembelajaran Mendalam dalam Buku Teks Bahasa Indonesia: Kajian Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional

Abstrak

Pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pembelajaran mendalam menjadi salah satu tuntutan utama pendidikan abad ke-21 serta menjadi bagian penting dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Buku teks memiliki peran strategis sebagai instrumen pedagogis yang dapat membentuk cara berpikir dan pengalaman belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis buku Bahasa Indonesia: Anak-Anak yang Mengubah Dunia untuk kelas VI merepresentasikan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan dimensi deep learning melalui perspektif Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional (LSF). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis dokumen. Data berupa aktivitas pembelajaran, instruksi, pertanyaan, dan tugas yang terdapat dalam buku teks. Analisis dilakukan melalui kajian transitivitas LSF serta pemetaan indikator berpikir kritis dan kompetensi deep learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku secara konsisten menghadirkan aktivitas yang mendorong interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, penjelasan, dan refleksi diri peserta didik. Dari perspektif LSF, aktivitas pembelajaran didominasi oleh proses mental dan verbal yang menempatkan peserta didik sebagai pembangun makna yang aktif refleksi, diskusi, argumentasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, ditemukan integrasi enam kompetensi deep learning, yaitu critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, character, dan citizenship dalam berbagai tema kontekstual. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa buku tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sumber pembelajaran bahasa, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21 yang selaras dengan tujuan Kurikulum Merdeka
